Prayer Prompts

Service Plan

To worship is to praise, adore, celebrate the one true God. In worship we offer ourselves and our lives to our loving father- God. We communicate with God through prayer and songs. We listen to His word when we pray, hear the Bible being read and through the message of the preacher. We respond to God's calling in our prayers, our lives and our giving.

Meeting with other Christians enables us to help one another and pray for each other as well as enjoying the unique and generous gift of fellowship.

At Belle Vue Methodist Church we meet to worship at least twice on a Sunday and at several fellowship and Church business meetings there is always a short time of worship.

The Sunday morning service is the larger gathering of people. Attended by approx 75 people, it is a very friendly, worshipful service. Junior Church runs at the same time as morning worship, as does the creche, so many families are able to attend the morning worship. The children join the rest of the church after the sermon.

The evening worship is generally quieter and fewer people attend.

The church often worships with other Methodist Churches in the circuit at a Circuit service or with Churches Together in Shrewsbury in a United Service. Below is the list of service dates and times along with the name of the Minister or preacher who will be leading the worship.
